Dear Friends and Colleagues,

More events, resources and announcements feature on eaaci.net even as the year moves into its final days. We would like to avail ourselves of this opportunity to wish all of you a very happy holiday season and a prosperous New Year.

London 2010:
The 29th EAACI Congress takes place in London, UK, from 5-9th June 2010. It is co-hosted by the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. The deadline for submitting your abstracts is 18th January 2010, so start preparing all that paperwork now!

Meet the person behind the name: The new president of the EAACI, Professor Jan Lötvall, tells us about his goals and his plans for the future development of the Academy. Prof Lötvall comments about the new communication tools that will assist that development and also responds to questions related to science and research.

EAACI Educational Grants 2010: Every year, the EAACI offers support to members that experience financial difficulties in covering the cost of annual membership fees. Take advantage of this generosity, which aims to benefit all and any of our members at different stages in their careers, and apply now for one of the Educational Grants 2010.

2009 Xmas Game: The JMA Working Group presents this year's Christmas Game, offering participants a chance of winning valuable scientific tools! Copies of Middleton's Allergy and Rich's Immunology textbooks can be yours if you answer the questions in the three series that go online during the holiday season. Try your hand at the first game now!

2010 Allergopharma Award: The 10th Allergopharma Award, to the value of 10,000 Euro, is an award that recognizes scientific achievements by young members of the EAACI (aged under 40 years) in the field of allergy and serves to encourage further research. Applications are received until 31st December 2009.

With Best Regards
